I am a resident artist at Historic Seattle's Good Shepherd Center. As a charm school drop-out, the creative possibilities of living in a former home for 'wayward' girls is thrilling. Continuing my pursuit of strange beauty in unusual places, I began Wayward Girls ProductionsLift Up Your Skirt and Fly, after moving into this beautiful, old building. I conceived, organized, curated, and participated in the Chapel Trilogy, an eleven-year project that involved an international group of artists and technicians.

Closet, a site specific group installation of twenty-two foot dresses hung from the ceiling of the Chapel, referenced the history of the Good Shepherd Center. Closet was based on Form. 7 Chairs: An Interpretation of the Chakras, a solo multi-media installation, fused an Eastern esoteric concept with Western physical form and conveyed the Energy of Form through sculpture, light, sound and time. In Ashes to Ashes, a group installation, artists regarded Releasing Form by designing and building their own biodegradable coffins. Ashes to Ashes was a “pimp my green coffin” approach to death.

During a stay in Rome, I began to synthesize the sensual experiences as ideas converged into the conception for the Illumination Chamber. The Illumination Chamber allows one to step into the light, an experience often heard from people who have a near death experience. In this way the Illumination Chamber is a continuation of the linear narrative of the Chapel Trilogy.

Creative thoughts coming in are so different now and time just seems quicker. Given this, I work under the name of Accelerated Particles.
